Thank you for partnering Rice University!!

Okay. So I know we've been silent over the past couple of months as far as socials or any updates. So I wanted to give one here. Our biggest problem, given how small we are, was that we had one big gap. Engineering. So over the past couple of months, I've been in countless meetings with tons of universities with one goal.

To see if any of them would partner with us to get this piece of technology into people's hands. And I'm happy to report that Rice University is partnering with us, and as I write this, it is currently developing the prototype of the assisted makers workbench!

We have assembled a team of seven brilliant student engineers and have been working with Rice over the past two months, having meetings weekly to ensure that we can get this device into the world. We will be working with them for a whole year. By the end, our hope is that we have a great foundation to build on, to eventually unveil this technology to the public. There are a lot of rough edges and a lot of questions to still work out.

But we are doing everything we can to make sure this is the best product we can give you. It's going to take a lot of work and a lot of time. It's coming. In the meantime, please feel free to look at some progress photos that we have.
